Uncomplicated

Definitely starting to sound like a broken record here on this blog! Wow does time fly. It's almost the end of March and I've posted zero to date for 2015. Craziness. So why skip those months when they were so good. I'll just slowly catch up instead!
Francis and I did a little girly trip to Edmonton to visit my good friend Candace and her new clan of three. Little Mr Duke made his arrival and I figured it was a good time to go help out and do some kidlet entertaining so Candace could chill and enjoy her new little man.
At the very least Francis created good entertainment and vs versus for her bonding and playing with Sam and Ellie. They had a blast in their own imaginary world.
Fortunately for this bunch of kids, and of course the parents, it took very little entertaining as they were all pretty good doing all that on their own.
We went for a full week. So the goal was to make life during that week as easy as possible including the pile up of possible laundry concerns. The kids thought this was great.
Francis also loved all the boy toys around including the remote control car. It was definitely having power steering issues but it kept on a going!!
We even got into making some playdough which turned out to be a horrible recipe I had found but they didn't care it was the process they loved.

Its funny how quickly one forgets the incredible changes infants make in only a week. Duke became a plump little fella in just that short time and seemed very content with all the racket throughout the house.
As usual it was a very uncomplicated and spa like visit for me. Poor Alistair was left behind getting very sick and Dad was an incredible trooper making sure his son faired well. So Candace and I made sure to make the most of it while we were there and solved all the world problems in just that short week.
Yay for uncomplicated friends!!!
